Our mission is to break down informative barriers

Kimap-City is a pilot project developed in the framework of the European large scale pilot “SYNCHRONICITY”, whose aim is to develop new IoT solutions for Smart Cities. Thanks to the mapping and navigation technology “Kimap”, developed by Kinoa, the web portal aims to bring down the informative barriers surrounding the accessibility of streets, public transport stops, points of interest. Such data are not always easy to find and are usually dispersed among several sources.

Thanks to Kimap-City, users will be able to visualize in detail the maps of the Cities available and understand which routes have the best accessibility conditions and which public transport stops are more accessible. Specifically, the paths are divided into 3 different categories: “red” “yellow” and “green” which distinguish 3 different levels of accessibility, with different difficulties depending on the mobility aids used.
